To ‘foster’ something means to support it to develop and grow, in a positive and intentional manner. We can foster ideas, businesses, values, or anything else that can be nurtured to be better.

Fostering also means raising a child or pet that is not one’s own; this can be for a short or long time.

Sparks Fostering recruits, assesses, supervises and trains foster carers. Our foster carers look after children who need homes for a short period or a long period of time.
