The Foster Carer’s ‘Approval Range’

Sparks Fostering carers offer care on an emergency basis, as respite (while their carers have a short break), short term (a few months), or long term (potentially up to, and beyond 18 years old). Sparks foster carers offer homes to children with no specified additional needs, children with disabilities, remand placements and/or parent and child placements.

The approval range for a foster carer is determined according to the skills, abilities and capacity of the foster carers.
