📚 What’s the Course About?

This 6-part online training series gives you a complete introduction to foster care – from the application process to safeguarding and the role of professionals. Each session is just 1 hour long and packed with the essentials you need to know.

You’ll receive a certificate of attendance for every session, which looks great on your CV and counts toward Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours.

Session 1: The Fostering Process – Mondays at 12:00 PM
Session 2: Meeting the Needs of Children in Care – Mondays at 1:30 PM
Session 3: The Importance of Background Checks – Tuesdays at 12:00 PM
Session 4: Ensuring Ongoing Safety in the Fostering Home – Tuesdays at 1:30 PM
Session 5: Social Work Interviews with Fostering Applicants – Wednesdays at 12:00 PM
Session 6: Protection and Rights for Foster Carers – Wednesdays at 1:30 PM
