Safer Caring in the fostering home

Safer caring addresses how children can be cared for safely within the foster home. Every fostering family will put together a ‘safer caring plan’, with the assistance of their Sparks Fostering social worker. The safer caring plan outlines the expectations within the home which will ensure that the child feels safe; for example, the plan will stipulate what members of the household are expected to wear after leaving the shower and the plan will also address safe touch between the child and other members of the household.
