Address of fostering homes

Different local authorities have different levels of need for foster carers. Some local authorities have a greater need for foster carers than other areas – either because recruitment hasn’t been successful, or they have a higher number of children in care (which is usually linked to deprivation in the area or high numbers of unaccompanied asylum seeking children).

Foster carers in different areas will be asked to care for different ages and/or needs of children depending on the needs of the children in their area.
