Muslim Children in Care

MCiC can fund the costs of faith based events (e.g during Ramadan or for Eid) or any other events during the year that bring together Muslim children.

We provide financial support only, ensuring that safeguarding and oversight remain fully within the local authority’s governance framework.

We also work closely with Local Authorities to deliver gifts for children in care including Qurans, prayer mats, Quran reflection packs and self care resources.

Currently we are working to support Local Authority children in care events and a London based charity that works with asylum seeking children and young people.

We work closely with local volunteers to deliver this work.
